Goop Kitchen

Goop Kitchen

Goop Kitchen, Hey, I’m a big fan of Goop. I love the way it looks at wellness from a different angle and isn’t afraid to try new things. So when they started offering their own Goop Kitchen delivery service last year, I was really excited. Now you can get three meals a week delivered right to your door with all ingredients included – no cooking required!

The Kitchen

At Goop, we believe in making food as delicious and easy as possible. Our goal is to help you create healthy meals that are not only good for you, but also taste great. We want to make cooking fun for everyone—even if you don’t consider yourself a “cook” at all!

To achieve this goal, we have created a variety of different meal kits that cater to several different diets: vegan (no animal products), paleo (no processed sugars or grains), gluten free (no wheat) and omnivore (for those who prefer meat!). Each kit contains everything you need to prepare an entire week’s worth of meals—from breakfast bowls to salads and soups—and takes only 15 minutes or less per recipe.

Brown Rice, Broccoli and Crispy Tofu Bowl

Ingredients

  • Brown Rice, Broccoli and Crispy Tofu Bowl: Brown rice, broccoli, crispy tofu
  • Sweet Potato and Sorghum Protein Bowl: Sweet potato, sorghum protein powder (with turmeric), green onion cilantro pesto (#5), sunflower seeds (#4)

How to make it

  • Cook the brown rice according to package instructions.
  • Steam the broccoli until bright green and tender but still with a bit of crunch (3-5 minutes). Drain any excess liquid from the bowl containing your cooked rice then add in your steamed broccoli on top of it and sprinkle over some salt flakes if desired.

Why would you want one? Brown rice is a great source of fibre, magnesium and selenium which are all essential for health and wellbeing so this dish is a great way to include them into your diet! If you love tofu then this recipe will be perfect as it gives you an awesome new way to enjoy it – especially when combined with our delicious sweet potato protein powder which tastes amazing!

Sweet Potato and Sorghum Salad

  • Steam the sweet potatoes: Place the sweet potatoes in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Make the dressing: Whisk together the vinegar and mustard in a medium bowl. Gradually whisk in oil until well combined, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Assemble salad: When cool enough to handle, peel off skins from cooked sweet potatoes; discard skins or reserve for another use (e.g., mashed or baked). Cut each sweet potato lengthwise into 1/4-inch slices; cut slices crosswise into 1/2-inch pieces to yield 3 cups of bite-size pieces per potato—you will have between 2–3 uncooked potatoes total depending on size; set aside while you prepare other ingredients (the dressing can be made while they are cooking).
  • Add beans to same pot with hot water left over from cooking sweet potatoes; bring back up to simmer over high heat, then turn heat down just enough so that it’s barely bubbling around edges of pot but still steaming very gently so that beans don’t burn before being fully cooked through—about 5 minutes depending on how soft you want them). Remove from heat when done and drain off any excess water before setting aside both veggies alongside each other where they can stay warm together while preparing rest of salad ingredients below!

Goop Kitchen Chinese Chicken Salad

Ingredients:

  • chicken breast
  • red bell pepper
  • green onions
  • cilantro leaves (optional)
  • cucumbers (optional)

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix until evenly coated with dressing. Serve over salad greens of your choice or make it into a wrap by adding some rice noodles to the mix. You can also enjoy this as leftovers for lunch over the next few days. If you have any leftover sauce, store it separately from the salad in a jar or Tupperware container and use it later on other salads or even as an appetizer dip!

Cauliflower Tacos with Pickled Red Onions and Chipotle Crema

What you’ll need:

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, plus more for drizzling
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 6 ounces cooked mahi-mahi or cod fillet, sliced into bite-size pieces (about 3 cups)
  • 1 package store-bought corn tortillas or homemade 6-inch round corn tortillas (recipe below)

To make the pickled red onions: Add 2 tablespoons each of apple cider vinegar, white wine vinegar and water; 1/2 teaspoon sugar; a pinch of salt; 1/2 teaspoon whole coriander seeds; and 3/4 cup sliced red onion to a small bowl. Stir well to combine. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve tacos (can be prepared up to two days ahead). To assemble tacos: Heat an 8-inch skillet over medium heat. Add the cauliflower florets in one layer (no need for oil here); season with salt and pepper on both sides before cooking. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 10 minutes total; set aside when done cooking In another skillet over medium heat add olive oil then cook mahi-mahi until crispy browned on each side about 2 minutes per side When ready to serve place all ingredients into separate bowls along with warm corn tortillas

Cauliflower Crust Pizza with Garlicky Spinach and Cherry Tomatoes

This pizza is a great way to get in more vegetables, but with the satisfaction of pizza. A cauliflower crust makes this pie gluten-free and low on carbs. It’s topped with garlicky spinach and cherry tomatoes, then finished with your favorite toppings. You can even make it into an easy appetizer by cutting into smaller bites!

To make a delicious homemade salad to pair with this pizza, try charring kale in a cast iron skillet for about five minutes over high heat until it becomes crispy. Add sesame-ginger vinaigrette (or another dressing of choice) and top with feta cheese if you like!

Charred Kale Salad with Sesame-Ginger Vinaigrette

This recipe is a great way to get your greens and vegetables in a simple salad form. Kale is a superfood, and the vinaigrette dressing is flavorful without being too spicy. If you don’t have kale on hand, you can use spinach or chard instead. The veggies can be changed as well—you could use bell peppers instead of cucumbers, carrots instead of radishes, chicken or shrimp in place of tofu or chicken breasts (if using ground beef or pork).

This recipe could be modified easily to suit your tastes: add some cheese for extra flavor; substitute ground beef for turkey to make it heartier; use tomatoes instead of zucchini for a different texture—the possibilities are endless!

Thai Steak Salad

  • Ingredients: Romaine lettuce, carrots, bell peppers, cilantro, mint, lime juice (or lemon), fish sauce and ginger.
  • To make it: First mix together all the ingredients for the dressing in a bowl. Then prepare steaks and marinate them with thinly sliced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes for at least 15 minutes before grilling. On a large platter add romaine lettuce leaves to form a base layer (you can also use spinach or any other leafy green you like). Grill steak to desired doneness then slice thinly against the grain. Add roasted bell peppers and cucumbers to your salad along with carrots cut into thin matchsticks or slices (easier than chopping). Top everything off with sliced beef steak then drizzle on creamy dressing garnished with herbs like mint or cilantro!

If you’re looking for a light and easy salad that will leave your taste buds screaming, look no further. This salad is full of flavor and nutrition, and it’s super easy to prepare. And since this beauty can be made in advance, it’s great for lunch or dinner parties too!
